 Cooperative Work Practices

Working with others is a vital part of our everyday work practice. We are constantly interacting with others on an individual and team level. This workshop aims to introduce participants to a variety of concepts that will assist them in working cooperatively with others.

Learning Outcomes
As a result of this workshop, participants will achieve the following objectives:
Knowledge of a range of interpersonal skills which impact on cooperative work practices
Identification of their own interpersonal style and the impact of that on others
Awareness of team development stages and processes
An understanding of decision making processes within a team environment
An understanding of conflict and its role
Familiarity with a simple model for managing conflict productively
A simple structure for negotiating with others
